New Jersey Obituaries - September 22, 1897 - Mrs. Philip Schneider

Mrs. Philip Schneider died at Fair Haven early last Wednesday morning. About two weeks ago she was stricken
with paralysis. Several days later she suffered two more attacks, from which she died in a short time. Mrs.
Schneider was born in Germany, but when a child her parents moved to this country. About 32 years ago she
moved to Fair Haven and lived there until her death. Her husband kept the Midway house at Fair Haven for
many years. She was 66 years old and leaves six children. They are Henry, Annie and Emily Schneider
and Mrs. William E. Cross of Fair Haven, and Philip and William Schneider of Brooklyn. The funeral
was held on Sunday at two o'clock from the house and the services were conducted by Rev. F. B. Crozier.
The body was buried at Rumson.
