New Jersey Obituaries - September 29, 1897 - Mrs. Mary Jane Morris

Mrs. Mary Jane Morris, a former resident of Belford, died at the home of her brother-in-law, Thomas Compton, at Keansburg, on Monday, Death was caused by a cancer of the stomach. It was intended to perform an operation, but her condition became so serious that the operation had to be abandoned. She was fifty years old and leaves no children. Her husband died at Belford last summer. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at the Keansburg Methodist church. The body will be buried at Keyport.
