New Jersey Obituaries - April 20, 1898 - Isaac N. Brokaw

Isaac N. Brokaw of Long Branch died of paralysis early Sunday morning. Mr. Brokaw was riding home on his bicycle from his work at Little Silver last Thursday night when he was stricken with paralysis. He fell from his wheel and was taken to his home. The stroke affected his left side. Friday morning Mr. Brokaw became unconscious and on Saturday morning he suffered a second stroke, which rendered him entirely helpless. He remained in an unconscious condition until his death. Mr. Brokaw was 48 years old. He leaves a wife and four sons. The funeral was held to-day and the body was buried in Glenwood cemetery.
