New Jersey Obituaries - April 27, 1898 - Charles M. Thompson

Charles M. Thompson of Freehold died on Tuesday of last week of cancer of the stomach, aged 69 years. He had been sick for some time but had been confined to his bed only a week. Mr. Thompson was a mason by trade. He married Miss Mary Matilda VanCleaf, who survives him, and he also leaves one son and one daughter. The children are Romain Thompson of Freehold and Mrs. Minnie Corry of Newark. He also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Cornelia Rue and Mrs. Eleanor J. Hulett of Freehold; and three brothers, David Thompson of Freehold, John Thompson of Imlaystown, and George Thompson of Milhurst.
