New Jersey Obituaries - August 3, 1898 - Mrs. Eliza Ann Maxson

Mrs. Eliza Ann Maxson, wife of John Maxson of Port Monmouth, died of dropsy on Monday. She was 53 years old and had been sick a long time. She was the mother of eight children, six of whom survive her. The children living are Mrs. Henry DeGrote, Mrs. Charles Rutt, and William, Albert, Robert and John Maxson, all of Port Monmouth. The funeral will be held to-morrow afternoon at half-past one o'clock from the house and at two o'clock from the Mission church, of which she was a member. The service will be conducted by Rev. Joseph Clark of Belford. The burial will be at Bay View.
