New Jersey Wills - December 14, 1898 - James Langan
|
James Langan of Howell township made his will October 28th of this year. He named as executors his two sons, Henry and Richard Langan. After providing for the payment of his debts and funeral expenses, he ordered that a tombstone, not to cost above $25, be placed above his wife's grave. He left $75 to each of his sons, Henry and Richard, and $50 to each of his two daughters, Elizabeth J. Langan and Mary Haley, and all the rest of his property of all kinds he left to his other daughter, Josephine Langan. The witnesses to the will were Aaron E. Johnston, Robert S. Hurley and Charles A. Palmer.
