New Jersey Obituaries - July 13, 1898 - William D. Byrnes

William D. Byrnes of Millstone township, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Stearle of Allentown, on Saturday a week ago. He was born in Dublin in 1833 and came to this country when quite young. Mr. Byrnes was a veteran of the civil war. He had been in poor health for two years. About two weeks ago he went to Trenton to be examined for an increase of pension and while there he was stricken with paralysis. He was taken to Allentown, where he died. Mr. Byrnes was the father of 21 children. A widow and nine children survive him.
