New Jersey Obituaries - July 20, 1898 - Elizabeth Ryan

Elizabeth Ryan, daughter of John Ryan of Oceanic, died on Sunday morning of meningitis. She had been sick about a week. She was nine years old and up to vacation time had been a regular attendant at the Oceanic public school. During the past three years of her attendance at school she had not been absent nor late a single day. The funeral was held yesterday morning at half-past eight o'clock from the house, and at nine o'clock from the church of the Holy Cross at Seabright . The body was buried in Mount Olivet cemetery at Headdon's Corner.
