New Jersey Wills - March 9, 1898 - John O. Covert

Before John O. Covert died near Wayside a week or so ago, he gave directions to his friends as to what to do with his few treasures. Among other things he left to his brother William a small testament with an American flag on the cover, which William Covert carried with him when in the late war, and which on his return he gave to John O. Covert. He also left a watch to William Covert which he said was in his cabin, but the watch could not be found.
