Samuel Perrine's Will
Two Brothers Get the bulk of His Estate-The Will to be Contested.
Samuel Perrine, who died recently near Englishtown, left all his property to his near relatives. He ordered that a headstone costing about $1,200 be erected over his grave. His farm at Englishtown, known as the Levi Smith farm and containing about 100 acres, was left to his brother, William D. Perrine. He had two nephews named Samuel E. Perrine, one being the son of William D. Perrine and the other a son of Thomas C. Perrine, and each of the nephews gets a bequest of $10,000. Mrs. Mary Vanderveer, wife of E. I. Vanderveer of Freehold, a niece, gets $500. Other nephews get from $100 to $1,000. All the rest of his estate, amounting to $50,000, was left to his two brothers, Thomas C. Perrine and William D. Perrine, who are each to get half of it. These brothers were made executors of the will. Two nieces, Matilda P. Dehart and Ella F. DeHart, who were not mentioned in the will, have begun suit to have the will set aside.
