New Jersey Obituaries - May 18, 1898 - Mrs. Rebecca White Williams

Mrs. Rebecca White Williams died suddenly at the home of her son, Nicholas V. White, at West Long Branch, on Monday afternoon. She was 86 years old and had been enjoying comparatively good health up to the day before her death. On Sunday morning she was suddenly taken sick and sank rapidly.
Mrs. Williams was twice married. Her first husband was Drummond White. Her second husband was Daniel Williams, who was a veteran of the war. Her children are Mrs. Samuel VanHuel and Nicholas V. White of West Long Branch, Mrs. Emily Woolley of Long Branch, Mrs. Mary Snowden of Jersey City, Mrs. Jane Height of Belmar, John White of New Bedford, Mrs. Caroline Bennett of Hamilton and Asbury White and Samuel White of Bradley Beach. The funeral will be held on Thursday at the Hamilton Methodist church and the burial will be in the family plot at Hamilton cemetery.
