New Jersey Obituaries - May 25, 1898 - Samuel Conrow

Samuel Conrow died of heart disease at his home on Oakland street last Friday night. He was 74 years old. He was first stricken with the disease about two weeks ago, while at the station. His condition was not thought serious until last Friday, when he had another attack. A few minutes before his death he got out of bed while laboring under nervous excitement, and walked across the room. He had hardly got back to his bed when he expired.
Mr. Conrow was born in Monmouth county, but when very small his parents moved to New York. He remained there until about a year ago, when he moved back to Red Bank. A wife and three daughters survive him. The daughters are Mrs. Albert Pearsall and Mrs. Frank Pearsall of New York, and Mrs. Benjamin Lawson of Red Bank. The funeral service was held at the house on Monday night at half-past seven. The body was taken to Greenwood yesterday for burial.
