New Jersey Obituaries - November 16, 1898 - John R. Porter
|
John R. Porter died at Pine Brook last Friday night. A wife and seven children survive him. Mr. Porter was born at Nova Scotia and was well educated. He was a proficient Greek scholar and for a number of years he taught school in the South. The funeral was held on Monday from the Pine Brook Methodist church and the body was buried in the cemetery at that place.
