New Jersey Wills - October 5, 1898 - Alonzo Rose
|
A will somewhat similar to that of Mr. Sickles was made by Alonzo Rose of Matawan, who died a short
time ago. This will was made March 30th of this year, and was also probated on Monday. Mr. Rose
left all his property to his wife, Minnie Rose, to be held by her for the benefit of herself and
son, Albert Rose, who is now a minor. Mr. Rose's will contained a provision that if his widow should
marry again, the real and personal property should be divided as the law directs between his widow and
his son, and that a guardian be appointed to protect the interests of his son if he should not be of
age at the time his mother marries again. Mr. Rose's wife and his brother, Harry B. Rose, were made
executors of the will. The witnesses were Joseph C. Letson and Milton A. Fardon.
