New Jersey Obituaries - September 14, 1898 - Jacob Roop

Jacob Roop died at his home on White street last Sunday night of convulsions, aged 43 years. He leaves a widow and four children. He also leaves a mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Roop, and two sisters; Mrs. Theodore Francis of Atlantic Highlands and Mrs. John H. Davis of Long Branch. The funeral was held at the house at two o'clock this afternoon. Rev. W. B. Matteson officiating. The burial was at Fair View.
