New Jersey Obituaries - 1899 - William I. Willett

William I. Willett of Belford was found dead in bed on Sunday morning by one of the members of his family. Mr. Willett was 76 years old and he had been ailing for some time. He was born at Belford and had lived there all his life, except for a few years, when he ran a stage in Brooklyn. He married Miss Susan Walling, daughter of Elijah Walling of Belford, and she and four children survive him. The children are Mrs. Cora Kraft, and David, Charles and Joseph Willett, all of whom live at Belford. The funeral was held this morning at ten o’clock from the house and the service was conducted by Rev. William V. Wilson. The pall bearers were D. W. VanNote, Harry Foster, Benjamin Holmes, J. N. Johnson, M. C. Lohsen and Capt. William H. Seeley. The body was buried at Fair View.
