Samuel V. Hime of Long Branch died at the soldiers’ home at Kearney on Tuesday, April 4th. He was 62 years old and death was caused by Bright’s disease. He served in the civil war as a member of Company H. Eighth New Jersey volunteers. He leaves a wife and four children. The body was buried at Kearney.
