Mrs. Annie McCabe, wife of Patrick McCabe of Brown’s Dock, died on Saturday of a cancer of the eye. She was taken sick in the early part of the winter and went to live with her daughter, Mrs. Patrick Conley of East Oceanic. On Friday she was taken to her home at Brown’s Dock, and on Saturday she died. Her husband and two children survive her. The children are Mrs. Henry Forate of Long Branch and Mrs. Conley. The funeral was held on Tuesday morning at ten o’clock at St. Mary’s church at New Monmouth, and the service was conducted by Rev. John O’Connor. The body was buried at Mt. Olivet cemetery at Headden’s Corner.
