Mrs. Jane Briggs of Freehold, widow of George H. Briggs, died on Sunday of last week, aged 65 years. Death was caused by a tumor, with which she had suffered three months. She leaves eight children. They are Mrs. Sadie Drennan, Mrs. G. Denise Conover, George H. Briggs, Edward B. Briggs, Daniel S. Briggs and William E. Briggs of Freehold, and Mrs. William Morris of Elizabeth. Two brothers also survive her. They are John and Edward Bawden of Freehold.
