New Jersey Obituaries - 1899 - Mrs. Elizabeth Cornelison

Mrs. Elizabeth Cornelison of Fair Haven died very suddenly on Saturday night of heart disease. She was 69 years old, and was employed at John Soden's. She had started home about eight o'clock on Saturday night and when in front of Forman Smith's house she was suddenly attacked with the disease. She grew faint and Mr. Smith started to help her home. In front of Edgar Smith's house Mrs. Cornelison grew so weak that she was unable to walk. She was taken in on Mr. Smith's stoop, where she died in a few minutes. Her life was insured in the Prudential life insurance company for $75. She was married twice. Her last husband died about eight years ago. She was the mother of eight children, all of whom are dead. The funeral was held on Monday afternoon at Fisk chapel and the service conducted by Rev. J. H. Christmas. The body was buried at White Ridge cemetery at South Eatontown.
