New Jersey Obituaries - 1899 - Pitney Curtis

Pitney Curtis, a life-long resident of Wall township, died on Saturday. He was 73 years old and death was caused by a complication of diseases. He leaves a fortune estimated at $50,000. He was prominent in Democratic politics in this county, and he had held various public offices. He served one term as lay judge of the Monmouth county courts. Two children survive him. They are Mrs. Howard Osborne of Manasquan and an unmarried daughter, who lived at home. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at two o'clock at the Manasquan Presbyterian church.
