Mrs. Bridget Dowd of Belford, widow of Thomas Dowd, died on Friday, February 10th, aged 94 years. Her husband died three years ago and at the time of his death Mrs. Dowd ordered a casket from Undertaker Posten of Atlantic Highlands like the one in which her husband was buried. Mr. (sic) Dowd had the casket made and has had it on hand ever since. Mrs. Dowd was a native of Ireland and came to this county in early life and settled at Belford. She leaves no children. A nephew at Elizabeth will inherit her property.
