Mrs. Vennie Emery, wife of Frank O. Emery of Oceanic, died on Sunday night of consumption. She was 33 years old and had been sick about a year. She was the daughter of Walter P. Brown of Oceanic. Five small children survive her. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon at one o’clock at the Oceanic Methodist church. The service was conducted by Rev. M. S. Messler.
