New Jersey Obituaries - 1899 - Owen Singleton

Owen Singleton died suddenly at Port Monmouth last Wednesday of heart disease. He was 66 years old and was sick only a few hours before his death. He was a farmer and had lived at Port Monmouth nearly all his life. Besides his wife five children survive him. The children are Mrs. William Naughton of Keansburg, Mrs. Michael Kilroy, Michael and Jerry Singleton of Sandy Hook. The funeral was held on Saturday morning at ten o'clock at St. Mary's church at New Monmouth and the service was conducted by Rev. J. A. O'Connor. The burial was at Mt. Olivet.
