|
Mrs. Julia E. Deacy, widow of John Deacy of Red Bank, died last Friday morning. She was 54 years old. On Thursday she underwent a surgical operation, but the shock proved too much for her to withstand and she died the next day. Mrs. Deacy was born in Ireland, but came to this country in her youth. She had lived at Red Bank for the past 26 years. Three children survive her. They are Julia and Edward Deacy of Red Bank and John Deacy of Trenton. The funeral was held on Monday morning at ten o’clock from St. James’s church. A high requiem mass was sung. The pall bearers were Peter Mulvihill, John Martin, John O’Brien, William and Lawrence Mahon and William Tindall. The body was buried at Mt. Olivet cemetery at Headdon’s Corner.
