Mrs. Sarah (Smith) Hyers, wife of Thomas Hyers of Ardena, died of pneumonia on Tuesday of last week. She was 57 years old. Mrs. Hyers was born at Turkey and was the daughter of the late John Smith. She was a member of the Jerseyville Methodist church. She leaves six children, Mrs. David Clayton of Harmony, John T. Hyers, Harry Hyers, Ambrose Hyers and James Hyers of Ardena, and Elwood Hyers of West Ocean Grove.
