Mrs. Rachel (Nesbit) Sutphen Osborn died on Tuesday of last week at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. William H. Flood of Freehold, aged 88 years. Death was caused by infirmities due to old age. Mrs. Osborn was the daughter of Margaret and John Nesbit and was born near Englishtown. Her first husband was Peter Sutphen, by whom she leaves four children, Mrs. Mary Lovett of New Egypt, Mrs. Ellen Randolph and Mrs. Margaret Adams of Freehold, and John N. Sutphen of Farmingdale. After the death of Mr. Sutphen she married John Osborn of Allenwood. Mrs. Osborn had been a member of the Freehold Baptist church for many years.
