New Jersey Obituaries - 1899 - Isaac Barber
|
Isaac Barber of Willow street died last Saturday, aged about sixty years. He had been unable to work for some time on account of rheumatism, but his condition was not considered dangerous. Saturday morning he had a hemorrhage and he died soon afterward. Mr. Barber was born near Keyport but had lived at Red Bank nearly all his life. He was employed a number of years by John Abbott Worthley. The last place he worked was at Lovett’s nursery. He leaves a wife and two daughters. His daughters are Mrs. Edward Smith and Mrs. John Sutphen. He was insured for $48 in the Prudential insurance company and for $56 in another company. The funeral was held Monday at two o’clock at the house and half-past two at Calvary Baptist church. Rev. A. H. Young had charge of the service. The body was buried at Leedsville.
