Miss Sarah W. Bacon of Spring Lake died on Monday, July 3d, aged 73 years. Miss Bacon moved to Spring Lake from Philadelphia eighteen years ago. She belonged to one of the oldest families of Philadelphia, being a descendent of an emigrant belonging to the society of Friends who settled on the Delaware soon after Penn had founded the city. Miss Bacon had been in good health until about a week before her death.
