Britton Hall of Cheesequakes died on Thursday, July 6th, aged 34 years. Death was caused by injuries sustained in a runaway accident at Keyport the Sunday previous to his death. He was out driving with a young woman when the horse got frightened and ran away. Hall and his companion were thrown out of the wagon. Hall struck on his head and was rendered unconscious. He recovered sufficiently to be able to drive home. The next day he again became unconscious and remained in that condition until his death. He was the son of Stephen Hall of Cheesequakes. He was to have been married in September to the young woman who was with him at the time of the accident.
