Gordon D. Thompson of Chapel Hill died last Friday of consumption, aged 56 years. Two children survive him. They are Bertha and Eugene Thompson, both of whom live at home. He leaves also two sisters and one brother. They are Mrs. R. S. Probasco of Red Bank, Mrs. George Alley of Middletown and William H. Thompson of Brooklyn. Mr. Thompson married Miss Sarah Heyer of Colt’s Neck. She died several years ago. His funeral was held on Sunday afternoon at his late residence.
