Mrs. Eliza Janeway Bannard, wife of Horace B. Bannard of Long Branch, died at Asbury Park, where she was spending the summer, on Saturday, July 15th. She was 56 years old and death was caused by paralysis. She was born at Plainfield and was the daughter of Eleanor and William Jones. She was twice married. Her first husband’s name was Janeway. By him she had one son, Hugh Janeway, who survives her. By her second husband she leaves three sons. They are William, Lewellyn and Horace Bannard. The funeral was held on Tuesday morning of last week at her late residence. Rev. Robert M. Blackburn of Long Branch had charge of the service. The body was buried at Plainfield.
