Mrs. John Hasselberger, daughter of Mrs. Annie O. Parker of Newman Springs died at her home at New York early last Thursday morning. She gave birth to a child on the previous Tuesday. Her condition was considered favorable until Wednesday, when she had an attack of weakness. She did not rally but died early Thursday morning. The child still lives. Mrs. Hasselberger was 22 years old and was married to Mr. Hasselberger about a year and a half ago. The body was brought to Red Bank on Saturday morning and the funeral was held at two o’clock on Saturday afternoon from her mother’s house at Newman Springs. The service was conducted by Rev. J. K. Manning. There were many handsome floral pieces and it required a special wagon to take them to the Fair View cemetery, where the body was buried. The pall bearers were George R. Lamb, Charles Minton, Theodore Colyer and William Child of Red Bank, and August Herlick and Harry Montague of New York.
