Miss Lida Myers, daughter of Martha Myers of Belford, died on Tuesday of last week, aged forty years. Death was caused by Bright’s disease. She had been sick a long time, but for a week previous to her death she had been unusually active. On Monday she was around the house and got dinner for the family. That night she was stricken down and was unconscious until her death. She leaves three sisters and two brothers. They are Annie Myers, Mrs. Samuel Walling, Mrs. Edwin McFeeley and William and Lewis Myers. She was an active member of the Belford Methodist church and taught a class in Sunday-school. The funeral was held on Friday at the Methodist church. Rev. J. Ward Clark had charge of the service. Among the floral offerings was a broken column from her Sunday- school class.
