Ann McCabe, wife of Patrick McCabe of Brown’s Dock, in Middletown township, left to her granddaughter, Edna Cooper, daughter of Teresa and John C. Cooper, the sum of $50 when she should become 21 years old. To her daughter Sarah Jane Front, Mrs. McCabe left $100. Her husband, Patrick McCabe, was left the use of the homestead property, on the Brown’s Dock and Chapel Hill road, as long as he should live. At his death the property is to go to Mrs. McCabe’s daughter, Mary Ellen Connelly, and this daughter is also to get all the rest of Mrs. McCabe’s property. Mrs. McCabe expressed a wish in the will that her daughter Mary Ellen would support and educate Rosaline McCabe, daughter of Mrs. McCabe’s dead son, Peter James McCabe. Wm. M. Naughton of Oceanic and Thomas P. McKenna of Long Branch were the witnesses to the will. The will was made last January, and Mrs. McCabe died April 15th.
