Mrs. Kate L. Poling died very suddenly at Keyport on Friday night, February 24th. Mrs. Poling had been alone for several days, her husband being employed at Rockaway and her daughter Edna being in New York. On the night of her death she made a call on Mrs. Boyce, a neighbor, and had hardly got in the house before she complained of feeling very bad, and she declared that she was going to die. She was led to a sofa and a doctor was sent for, but Mrs. Poling died a few minutes after he arrived. Death was caused by heart disease. Mrs. Poling was twice married. Besides her husband and daughter she leaves a son by her first husband. She was 63 years old.
