His Life Crushed Out
Forman O. Longstreet of Brielle Killed Last Week
Forman O. Longstreet of Brielle was killed last Wednesday. Mr. Longstreet was carting gravel from a pit on the Schroeder place along the Manasquan river. He was driving down a steep hill when the neck yoke broke and the tongue of the wagon dropped to the ground. Mr. Longstreet was thrown forward and was caught between the wheel of the heavily loaded wagon and a tree. The wagon was backed off and Mr. Longstreet was carried to his home. He died in less than half an hour after the accident. He was 43 years old and leaves a widow. He had an insurance of $1,000 on his life.
