A New Cemetery Association
Manasquan to Have One of the Finest Cemeteries in the State
The Greenwood cemetery association has been organized at Manasquan. The trustees are John W. Borden, Halsted H. Wainright, Edward S. Vanleer, William P. Taylor and William H. Morris of Manasquan, W. S. Jackson of Belmar and Herman Getsinger of Spring Lake. John W. Borden is president of the association and Halsted H. Wainright is secretary. The men comprising the association bought a large tract of land last fall from the John M. Brown estate and will develop it as a cemetery. The site overlooks the Manasquan river and is ninety feet above the sea level. The cemetery will be sodded. No fences will be allowed in the cemetery and lot owners will not be allowed to grade their lots. All this work will be done by the association by a uniform method.
