Mrs. Ann Eliza Stanhope died of dropsy on Saturday a week ago at the home of her son, O. F. Stanhope of Keyport, aged 78 years. Mrs. Stanhope was born at Marlboro. In 1849 she married Oscar F. Stanhope, a sea captain, who was lost at sea in 1851. Mrs. Stanhope moved to Keyport shortly after her husband’s death and had lived there ever since. She leaves but one child, the son with whom she lived.
