Mrs. Alice Schanck, wife of Theodore Schanck, and daughter of Elizabeth and Alfred Conklin of Matawan, died of puerperal fever at the home of her parents on Monday of last week. She was nineteen years old and leaves an infant child five days old. Mrs. Schanck was a member of the Matawan Methodist church and an active member of the Epworth league.
