Robert C. Trafford died at Red Bank early Monday morning of consumption. He was 24 years old and had been sick about a year. He was a clerk in the postoffice for about six years, but he retired about a year ago on account of poor health. He was the son of Emily Bannister and Charles Harmon Trafford of Red Bank, both of whom have been dead several years. Robert was very popular, and owing to his pleasant disposition he had a host of friends. He was engaged to be married to Miss Blanche Robbins, daughter of Capt. William Robbins of Red Bank. Two sisters and a brother survive him. They are Miss Emily Trafford of Red Bank, Mrs. Grace McClellan of Chicago and Charles Trafford of Asbury Park. The funeral will be held at two o’clock tomorrow afternoon at the house of Henry S. White. The service will be conducted by Rev. T. G. Davey and the burial will be at Fair View cemetery.
