New Jersey Obituaries - 1899 - John Klappenecker

John Klappenecker died at his home near Allentown on Sunday , October 29th, aged 71 years. On Saturday, October 14th, Mr. Klappenecker fell from a ladder while picking apples and sustained internal injuries which caused his death. Mr. Klappenecker emigrated from Germany in 1850 and settled at Kinkera, New Jersey. He afterward moved to Allentown. A widow and four children survive him. The children are Mrs. Louisa Fitzmeyer of Allentown and Mrs. Mary Thele, Mrs. John I. Moore and Mrs. Susie Bergen of Trenton.
Per the Death Notice Mr. Klappenecker was aged 71 years and two months.
