New Jersey Obituaries - 1899 - Bertha Wyckoff

Bertha, daughter of John H. Wyckoff of Holmdel, died on Friday, aged twenty years. Her death was caused by consumption, with which she had been sick about two years. Her funeral was held from her late home at two o'clock yesterday afternoon. Rev. R. B. Fisher preached the sermon and he was assisted by Rev. Garrett Wyckoff. The body was buried in the Holmdel cemetery.

Mrs. Wyckoff leaves five brothers and three sisters. They are Mrs. Nettie Taylor of Holmdel, Mrs. Edwin S. Lupton, Jr., of Matawan, Mrs. Julia Snooks and John Wyckoff of Brooklyn, and William, George, Joseph and Holmes Wyckoff of Holmdel. Miss Wyckoffs brothers and her brother-in-law, who lives at Syracuse, New York, acted as pall bearers.
