Martha F. Davis's Will
Martha F. Davis of Englishtown made her will on April 1st, 1898. The witnesses were William P. Brown, Herbert W. Emmons and William L Conover. She directed that all her debts and funeral expenses be paid and that a headstone be erected over her grave. She left all her wearing apparel and household goods and furniture to her sister, Caroline Suydam. All the rest of her estate she left to her friend, Mrs. Sarah M. Patterson, whom she made executrix of the will.
