New Jersey Obituaries - 1899 - Peter Wall

Peter Wall of Ardena died on Thursday, August 24th, aged 72 years. He was a native of the province of
Lorraine, France. He came to this country when he was eight years old and was employed as a butcher at Bordentown and Princeton. He served three years in the civil war with Company B of the First New Jersey cavalry. In 1869 he moved to Farmingdale and nine years later he moved to Ardena. He married Sarah VanBrunt, who died in 1885. Mr. Wall had no relatives in this country.
