Miss Mary C. White died at Red Bank at noon on Thursday of heart trouble, with which she had been suffering a little over a week. She was the daughter of Mary and Elisha White and was born at Red Bank in 1830. Her parents at that time lived on the White homestead, which then stood on the site now occupied by Mrs. E. Weis's store. For the past three years Miss White had lived with her only surviving sister, Miss Jane White, on the Conrow homestead at East Red Bank. Besides her sister, two brothers survive her. They are Lyttleton White of Eatontown and Barzilla White of Freehold. The funeral was held on Sunday afternoon at half-past two o'clock at the house. The service was conducted by Rev. Robert MacKellar, rector of Trinity church. Miss White had been a member of the church a great many years. The body was buried at Shrewsbury.
