New Jersey Obituaries - 1899 - Miss Mary Schanck Stilwell

Miss Mary Schanck Stilwell of Matawan, daughter of the late Elizabeth W. and Daniel S. Stilwell, died of Bright's disease on Sunday, September 17th, aged 48 years. She had been sick for several months and had been confined to her room at intervals. Two or three days before her death she was taken with a severe attack and gradually grew weaker until she died. Miss Stilwell was a member of the Matawan literary society and she was very much interested in church work. She leaves three sisters and one brother, all of whom are unmarried. They are Miss Jennie W. Stilwell, Miss Grace McN. Stilwell, Miss Sadie Stilwell and Charles W. Stilwell.
