Mrs. Phietta Hoff of Keyport died in the state insane asylum at Trenton on Saturday, March 31st, Death was due to a general breaking down of the system. Mrs. Hoff had been an inmate of the asylum for 26 years. She received a pension from the government. Constable James M. Walling of Keyport was her guardian.

Per Death Notice Mrs. Hoff was aged 87 years.
