Mrs. Elizabeth Lawes died last Thursday at the home of her son, William H. Lawes of Holly farm, near Red Bank, aged 91 years. Death was due to old age. Mrs. Lawes was born in England. She had lived with her son about twenty years. She leaves no other children. The funeral was held on Saturday at one o'clock at the house. The sermon was preached by Rev. W. D. Bailey, rector of Christ church of Shrewsbury. The body was buried in Fair View cemetery.
