Anna M. (Reed) Estell, wife of John W. Estell, died on Tuesday of last week at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Walter S. White of Freehold, aged 71 years. Death was caused by a complication of diseases with which she had been sick eight months. Mrs. Estell was the daughter of Ann and Charles T. Reed and was born near Jerseyville. She was a member of the Jerseyville church and was a teacher in the Sunday-school for forty years. She married Mr. Estell in 1851 and he and one daughter, Mrs. Melvina Emmons of Freehold, survive her. She leaves also one brother, William Reid of Jerseyville.
